In a last ditch attempt to find a way to fix a customer issue we have... I am reaching out as it seems to be the more active ESI forum on the web.
We currently have a customer with an IVX 128. They do not receive calling name. PRI is setup as an NI-2 and our end is a Cisco BTS -> 2432 IAD to their PBX.
Our switch folks have tried multiple configurations to get the name to present. The problem seems to be that the IVX wants the facility message split up. The vendor (on the ESI side) is stating the setup msg is too big and that is the reason it is failing.
Have any of you run into this in the past? Any suggestions on what the config needs to be on each side? Just trying to make our end customer happy.
