My intercom module Tone Commander RT-3600 has died. One phone source has a Tone Commander TC-3600.
1) Does anyone know if the two units are compatible? I presume they are but do not want to order the unit until I know. [The seller says I can return it but better to know ahead of time.]
2)The existing intercom module is attached to the system with an 25 pair amp. connector. Is all that is necessary is to attach the connector to the new unit or does the wiring need modification?
3) Out of curiosity can the module be rebuilt and , if so, who can rebuild it? [It probably is cheaper to buy the new unit - but just checking.
4) I am new to this bulletin board. I hope that I have followed the appropriate procedures. If it is not to much trouble, could someone who responds notify me by email at
