I have fitted few of them but never had to do it before.
My client who has PANASONIC KX TEA 308 wants to print call logs. Ideally he would like to send log to his laptop.
First problem is that todays laptops or even desktops dont have RS232(COM)ports.
So I bought one of those cable with RS232 (COM) on one side and USB on the other but neither printer nor laptop connected to printer does not seem to even "notice" presence of system being plugged in. I used relevant commands from the PANASONIC side but printer remains silent.
Has anyone got any idea how to go about it ? . Some step by step guide would be perfect.
Thanks for all help.
