Customer has a CICS. They called and said this is what happened. All the phones quit working - no display, dead. They power-cycled the unit. Then all the phones said "In Maintenance". They power-cycled again. Then 1 phone worked - dial tone, call out, etc... But every other phone was just blinking like the system was just plugged in.
When I got to site, all the phones were still blinking and the one phone was working. Went into Maintenance mode and except for the one working, EVERY station port was disabled. I went through and enabled each port and the phones started working.
Programming was still good and all phones now working.
Have you ever seen that, especially the "IN MAINTENANCE" message? Give me your guesses or expert knowledge as to what happened.
Thanks Jim
