Current Setup
Have a 7200s with 8 digital phones in the church office and 6 smti6021's via fiber over to a little house that the church bought, The issue is feedback on the IP handsets while on an outside line. The customer speaks into the handset and hears themselves repeat what they just said to their customer. No issue from the receiving end.The customer on the 6021 sometimes reports "echo" on the handset. This "echo" seeems to be more of feedback than an echo. This only happens when on a telco line. intercom calls have no issue. The digital phones, have no issue's when they are on the line. I was told by tech support to change the dual filter ec mode to 8dkt2. But still have the issue. Customer has 6 onboard mgi license with v4.99 sw and ver 1.40 on the ip sets. A system reboot will often resolve the issue for a few days, but then comes back.
Has anyone else ran into this.
