Thank you so much for your help. I did get the buzzer to work..... I found out what was causing the line lamp to stay lit, it has something to do with the headset like [email protected] said. I found the bell system practice for the call director 502-612-425 and it had something to do with the relay that is above the dial pad. I disconnected the relay by disconnecting the slate/white pair. So it sounds like it was a feature to have the line lamp to stay lit unti you hit the clear button to release the line if you are using the headset.
