We have the Inter Tel CS 5200 phone system and the handsets are the digital Intertel 8520. Some are the Excecutive Handsets 8560. The problem we are having is that we have some headsets that we have recently purchased and have plugged them into the headset port and have enabled the button on the handset to switch the phone into headset mode. Our staff can hear the caller very clearly through the headset but the caller states that they can not hear us very clearly, they say it sounds very faint??? We at first thought it may be an issue with the headset not being compatable but this is not the case as we have tried many headsets including headsets from Plantronics and the problems follow through. Even though the Intertel Headsets do not require amplifying I have tried to use an amplifier but I can not see any difference. Can someone please advise if there is any other such settings that need to be made or if anyobody else has had the same problem and fixed it? Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank You.
