System is carded for 7 x 14.
I have 6 lines into KSU. CEO wants line 6 as his private line. I unassigned line 6 on all Exts. except for his X.18.
They have no Partner VM.
Does anyone see a problem with this? I do, as far as him then needing to transfer the outside party to another inside employee.
Is there a BETTER way?

you don't have to have the line appearance to transfer the call.
