OK ... i know the basics... out on an analog extension to a Multi Tech and out over the internet to the remote site then to a Multi Tech and to a S/L phone... then back in through a Multi Tech and into the system on an analog CO Port.

Will an analog extension off of an 016 ETR card work??

How touch is the whole thing to configure on both ends... an hour or two on site and an hour or two on the remote end?

I didn't sell this system and i am not sure i want to dive into this stuff on a system i don't work on much unless it is pretty simple.

Thanks in advance.

it will work as long as it is set to ETR on the port, which I believe are only the last 4 ports of any card.

time is a big guess. I have never done the Multi=tech, just the MCK digital extenders.. more time than i wanted.

We use to sell a bunch of the multiTech boxes on Partner and Magix before IPO came out.
Those MultiTech boxes are rock solid.

I recommend pre-programing the multiTechs before you go on site to install them.
With that said, your thinking of 4 to 5hrs total sounds about right, plus your travel.

If you need any help with this, just let us know.

It's the last (topmost) six ports on the ETR card that are available to strap from ETR to T/R.

Distance and wire gauge ultimately comes into play with the different flavors of analog boards (016ETR, 016 T/R, 008 OPT)--but unless you plan to exceed 3000 feet...you'll be fine. The 008 OPT tends to have a hum, but the others sound clean.

Short answer? You'll be fine.
