Have a customer that has ACS R6 auto select is set for line one first. When they go to call out sometimes line one is dead then they press line two and then press line one again it will work. Have changed out the ACS and they are still having the problem. Anyone ever have this problem or know what might be wrong? Now this doesn't happen every time they use the phone. Maybe 5 times a day. Thanks

Have you switched line 1 with 2 or 3 to see if problem follows the line ?

Test to see if Line 1 is disconnecting after a call is done.

Is the LEC providing traditional POTs line service via regular copper cables or is the service being delivered some other way?

Yea, that's it, check at the NID! Intermittent short if its POTS.
If it's a pot line, is there static when it's working?
