We have several 2k's connected first route via VOIP & secondary XNET. We are also using an IVR for front end auto attendant processing.. If a user dials an incorrect extension number It has been setup to hit an intecept number and the call will automatically dial out to another office. For example to our operators in another 2k. However when I do this there is a massive 8-10 second delay between the transfer. If I dial a bogus extension number from my phone it does the same thing. I have also created a single line extension & did an all call forward from the console to this other networked 2k. This issue I'm dealing with is the delay. If I try testing this by having a user call me, I hit the transfer key and dial a bogus extension, & hit the transfer key again or just release the call the use rings back to my extension. However if I have the user call my extension & I wait 8-10 seconds until I see the call transfer out I can succesfully release the call?? Any thoughts on how I can make this transaction faster? Sorry for the book, but it was the only way I could get my issue across.

Does the IVR use analog ports or T1 integration with the 2K?

We are currently using passive cards (analog ports) from Interalia unit.

What happens if you dial from your set the same number the Interalia dials? Do you get the delay? If not what happens if you give your phone the same COS and COR as the interalia? If you do get a delay form your set, it sounds as though it could be an ARS issue with expected digit timeout.
