Occasionally, when outside callers press tones to end a voicemail, or dial an extension for the automated attendent, the tones are not heard by the system.
Perhaps related, or not, our main console, on a Mitel Superconsole 1000, if we select a voicemail to go to directly, it hangs indefintely and never makes it to the voicemail. In the past, we have been able to dial directly to voicemail.
Lastly, if a caller selects from our directory by name, it goes straight to voice mail without ringing the extention.
Thank you in advance. DonM

Do internal phones calling voicemail have intermitten issues ? Like passwords failing, messages not being deleted or saved ?
What is the console dialing or what fuction are they trying to complete ? I don't understand your post on the console . The sc1000 does have a tones button that must be used for dtmf features like autoattn .
The dial by name feature and sending it to the mailbox or transfering to an extension is a voicemail selectable option and should not be related to your PBX , depending on your type of VM system .
