Some rooms won't transfer to covoice. 90% work properly. Is there a possibility that the ports on the control cards are not configured correctly for each room? There does not seem to be any consistancy to the problem. Thanks for your help.

Need more information - do you mean you cannot forward them? It is a COV or ONS integration?

Dane,
He is talking about rooms that meens all phones are SL on ONS.
katboss, you have to make sure that all rooms programmed CFNA into VM for number of rings that less that call recall time is. Check on the Consol that room is Forwarded into VM or make sure you have a mail box assigned for that room.

do you need the docs for the covoice?do you know how to bring up the C1 screen to test all 4 ports
for proper forward and follow on id sequence?

from what I can tell there may be a couple of things to try. When you said it did not send packet how did you determine that? Were you on the VM ext listening for tones? Here is what I suggest you do to test this. If you are using ONS integration and can monitor VM ports to listen for toned digit strings take one ext and forward it to each individual VM port and make sure that you get the ONS toned digit string. Sounds like possibly you have an ext for the VMS that is not programmed correctly. If that works then find an extension that is not working and one that is and simply swap the cards (do not reprogrammed to vacant port) and see if the problem follows the card. Not too sure what else might be causing the problem.

i have docs to covoice. today i will run c1 and moniter the lines as i call i will use lines that work and lines that don't now what i meen by not recieving packet on the covoice it tells the codes per line as it recieves them for instance on good line i see rna (ext)then packet 400 then menu then record then set lamp then back to waiting on ones that don't work nothing at all now the vms (covoice) i have seen calls come in on both ports the worked corectly on both. i have even unpluged one port forcing it the next. the pbx is live cannot shut down i think that is what you meen by switching cards you mean the ons cards on the pbx ? snc not sure foward and follow id sequence.will try some of these ideas today. this is a mind bogler.
I Thank You both very much i will let you know what i find out

All single line exts use Abr. dial table to go into VM. Check your entry for those rooms that are not going into VM. if you do not have an entry in Abr.dial table for those rooms you are not going to see any info (packets)on VM ports from those onece.
