I have a Sx-50 MS53 system configured with 3 ONS and 1 COV cards and everthing works just fine. When I insert a DNIC card (works ok in my MS55 system) I get a "Card rejected message" any comments?

You probably use to have another card in that slot b4 and system Reject a wrong card. You have to go to Com. for that slot and delete all exts what had beem programmed for that slot b4.

I'm tryin' real hard to remember here. I believe one reason for the 55 software was the 'new' DNIC card, and it won't work on 54 and back. But, I don't have a 55 cd to check reason for reissue. Anybody? John C.

Yes John, You are 100% correct. I forgot that MS55 came up with DNIC card for 400 series phones. That is the main reason MS53 rejects DNIC.

SEE, see, it still works! My mind that is. Just about everything else is erratic, fades, drops calls (thoughts), and cuts out, kinda like an old TIE TCX128! John C.

The operative word is 'used'. How many times did you have to change the default TG access code to be anything but '91'?! Employees that make a lot of L/D calls go home and absent-mindedly dial 911 to make an L/D call and wind up with police/ fire/ambulance at the door! Funny the 1st time, but! It was a pretty good system, but the P/S's were NOISY! Ever work on a Death er Data Star? Or worse yet, a Businesscom 2040/3060? John C.
