I remember all those years ago (so many I'm surprised I do remember at all) when I got certified on the SX50. I did it remotely and they sent me a training video. What the video actually consited of was an advertisement thing more than anything else. It showed some hot babe driving a convertible sports car at night. She shows up at some site (steps out of the car and is in a short cocktail dress - great legs) and goes into the phone room where she proceeds to mount (don't get the wrong picture fellas)the switch on the wall connect the 25 pair amphenols , flip on the power, and, voila, the system is installed and she hops back in her car and she is off to her party. Yeah - right.

It is possible, if the thing is all prepped , preprogrammed and prewired so it is literally plug and play. We used to ship motel systems preprogrammed with a copy of the program to sub-contractors. Instructions were to call us with Proposed changes and why. Only had 1 bad experience doing it that way. Fool didn't even look at the card layout, put the 8 ONS in the 1st slot, 8 trunk in the last slot and couldn't get the 9-16 extensions or 4 of the trunks to work! Finally had to go 2 states away when I realized he had a slightly above room tempature IQ. Sometimes things just don't work no matter how hard you work at it! frown John C. (Not Garand)

WT, certified is what the doc does when he sends you to the rubber room!

Oh yeah, I missed the sign!

And be careful what you say, whippersnapper, your time will come. Unless you do something stupid, like upset an old crusty type. smile John C.

bditech, I for 1 apologize! I just realized we've hijacked your thread for our own nefarious purposes. frown

What is the latest and can you give us a quick description of what you've tried and what you've found. Then, MAYBE, we can get this thing rectified. smile John C. (Not Garand)
