Hotel with a Mitel SX 100 experienced a power outage that lasted a while. When the system came up none of the calls go to their voicemail. Being familiar with the newer SX200 ICP Controllers I checked call re-routing. I can call the voicemail directly so I believe the voicemail to be in good working order.

Thanks in advance.

System came up in night mode after the reset. Try day mode & see what happens.

When you say SX-100 with voice mail, I assume that they have an original Mitel 3rd party processor card, such as a Generic 319 card. Finding Sx-100 techs with there faculties still intact may be difficult as this was discontinued in the 80's. But, it still is a workhorse. Voice mail intergrationis was very complicated and you may have lost the programming.Or, as the Doctor says, maybe you should set the console to Night 1, a common setup back then..PM me if you need more help

So why would the extensions be affected by Night 1? When a caller calls an extension vm doesn't answer either.

What happened is that you probably lost all the call forwarding. If you do have a 319 you can do a blanket call forwarding I believe. The 319 was a retrofit solution which allowed DTMF integration to voice mail. Someone out there probably has manual sheets on this. If you can't find one I may be able to find one around here but it would take some searching.

There was also a late upgrade from Mitel that was designed to ease vm integration. It was truly an upgraded 217, but was occassionally referred to as a 218. So first, open the door and look at the processor (the card with red pulls) and see if it says 217, 218, or 319. Then, get back to us. Or, push and hold 'Ident' on the console and see what it says on the upper right numeric display. Then get back to us. Yp, I'm one of the 100/200 techs whose faculties are generally intact, altho I am retiring June 1. smile John C. (Not Garand)

Well, you think you're retiring, but you'll be here. You'll be posting. And although I know my way around a 100, that's all I'm giving up for now. Roger, what happens when you call a room that's busy or doesn't answer? Does it go back to the console? What Dane and Lightninghorse are saying is correct. Check your call forwarding. PS, easy now Phonedrone, time passes quickly!

After I posted, I got to thinking (Yep, I can still cogitate) His batteries are shot and the processor went dumb. But, I'm trying to figure out how it remembered the extensions. Assuming it's a 319, will they default with ext numbers like a 20 or 50? I have 1 I've been playing with, but not enough.
And yeah, I'll still be here. Who knows, maybe I can drum up some remote support jobs that pay more than 'Thanks'. Got a garage full of stuff to clear out, and a FIERO in semi decent shape that was parked running 3 years ago. Price was right, $250. I could salvage it for that except for the fact that it's plastic on the outside. And the riding mower that won't move, transaxle problem and my retired labor is a WHOLE lot cheaper than a new 42" mower! So, I can probably stretch that out for a couple of years. smile John C. The calls ring and... ring... How do you turn call forwarding back on? I have checked the Feature access codes and I don't have a CF NA or CF BNA.
