We have a 200sx light in the field at a hotel that is not displaying 911 calls on the console that are made from a guests room. The call does make it to the 911 call center though. COS 102 and 108 are programmed. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why the call will not display are what else need to be programmed? Thanks for your help in advance!

What is the software revision level - also make sure in the ARS that the 911 digit string is labeled as "Emergency"

Thanks for the advice. We will start checking for these suggestions, as well. I love this forum and thanks so much for your help. We will post what the problem was if we can find it.

You only need to do entries in form 9 if you are trying to send notification of specific location to call center or somewhere other than the console.

Dane are you sure on that, I guess I always add the @ sign and assumed that without it you would not get the proper information at the console, I have never tried without. from the docs: Enter the physical location in the Comments field by typing an "@" followed by the physical location of the set or trunk. Only text following the @ is displayed. A maximum of 14 characters will be displayed on the Console. For an example, see the Comments field in this Figure. Note that if you program the physical location, the tenant information will not be displayed.

The 200 Light did not support the emergency 911 feature. That didn't come out until LW18 (w/ feature level 1).

Have these installed all over without the comments in form 9 - it will tell you the extension that called. In larger environments it might be useful to have it display something to the effect of "physics lab" or something like that in which case you would do what you suggested.
