I have an SX200 EL with a T1 that keeps busing out. I have called ATT they say that it is not their issue. I have replaced the T1 card 9109-021-000-SA and I have rebooted the CSU. Any Ideas on anything else it could be.

Was it working before? If you watch the trunks in maintenance, what causes them to busy out?

Well if I return all the channels to service and they return to idle. As soon as they call out each channel gets busied out.

When you return them to service, try making some incoming calls before they all busy out.

Sure it could be the CSU. But, there are other things to try, as well. As fifty5footer asked, WAS IT WORKING at some point? Or has it been happening for several months? John C.

What lights do you get on the T-1 card? What lights at the NIU?

Amber=no sync
Red alarm means this end is down (problem is here) -- Yellow means problem at the other end.

To verify, try looping the T-1 pin 1--> 4 and pin 2--> 5.

All lights at the NIU and CSU should clear and go green.
