I've got an issue with an sx-50. its not internal calling or external calling. External calling meaning when I dial 9 to work access a trunk. I have the trunk groups set up correctly. Its just odd. Could it be a bad Control card. I have looked through manuals and I dont see anything related to my issue.

1. Rotary dial phone without rotary enabled. 2. All DTMF receiver/senders broken/disabled (Should have seen alarms!). 3. Can the console call rooms and/or make outside calls? 4. Program hosed, possibly from power glitch and dead memory battery.

Remember that the console DOES use the DTMF sender portion of the sender/receivers. First, I would reboot. Second, pull ALL periphial cards, WITH THE POWER OFF, and test. Then reinsert 1 card, WITH THE POWER OFF, at a time and test. Third, I would initialize at least 3 times, then reprogram. Just enough to test! No help, time for a replacement MCC.
I'm assuming that this is/was a customer's working system, rather than an e-bay type purchase!

OH Yeah, check Power Supply Voltages before going too far, like after the reboot doesn't work!
