You're beginning to learn the book! That's what most manufacturers concentrate on in classes, any more. Learn the book so you know where to find the answer, instead of lining up on hold for the next available manufacturer tech. smile

Yes, I'm learning to turn the pages of the book. Having my own sx-50 test system helps now. I know it annoys you but I just like to use the internet too laugh . I do appreciate this forum.

Oops, sorry if I sounded like I was trying to run you off. Far from it, just congratulating you on taking the initiative! Remember, responses are not going to happen quickly when you are on the customer's sight! frown

I know you weren't trying to run me off. I do read the manuals a few times before I ask. Then after a few attempts at it I ask on here. I do appreciate everyone's help. That's what the internet was intended for at least in my mind. I figure if I ask a question it will help someone out in the future as well.

deadwalleye,

I am a firm believer that it is a rare instance when I encounter a problem that nobody else has encountered before me.

If you don't ask, you will never know.

Just my 2 cents worth.

I read the manuals, search the blogs and play with the system before I ask here unless I am just plain brain dead on a particular topic and need my melon jostled.
