Have a SX-50 with the console display flashing 'console reset'... seems to keep resetting. Any idea as to what the prob could be? The 7 segment display reads flashing 1 or 2 and at times a steady 4. Thanks.

DAMAGED: Console, line cord, cabling to console jack, MCC. Connecting the console directly to the MCC console jack (With a NEW standard 6 conductor phone cord) will eliminate all but the console and MCC. Any sign of liquid spill in/on the console? New install? Console relocation? Power Loss and system is loaded with GARBAGE due to weak/dead memory battery. (If the problem appeared after 'IRENE' went through, I'd test the console as above, see if ANY other features in the system work, try to copy out the program on paper, and DEFAULT 3 times, and reload the system.)

Hope you had a copy of the program! Oh, by the way, your webpage no longer exists!

AND don't turn the system off to change it. You know it's dead!
