Hello can anyone tell me how I can setup the computer telephony integration with the Mitel SX-200 ICP. Apparently it is VOIP and streams smdr over the network. But i was told they don't use port numbers they use Sockets. And I need to know how to test it with hyperterminal. Thank you.

You need the installer password or an administrator with read/write authority to program forms 37, 48 and 49. Forms 48 and 49 is where the IP information is located.
If you are not a certified Mitel technician, you will probably do much more harm than good messing with the programming. May I suggest you contact a telephone interconnect in your area and pay that person to do it right?

Thanks Rcaman. I will take your advice wholeheartedly. I am just the person who has the phone vendor connect the pc to the phone system and setup the PC to recieve the CDR's or SMDR's I do not deal with the phone system. I apologize for not being more accurate in my post. I did receive some other information as well and I really appreciate your response. I am forever in your debt sir. Thank you again and have a great day.
