Have to interface an innformXL and SX200 ELx with FOSSE from Marriott.
Any pitfalls I need to be aware of since their Tech Support told me it's "pretty much plug and play"? Obviously, I'm not holding my breath. Especially since I was asking about RS232 connectivity and heard the crickets chirping before I got a response.
This will be a sight unseen that I'm walking into so any ideas besides "Run Away" will be greatly appreciated.

You may be going out of the remote port on the InnForms rs-232 to rj-45. Might need a serial to rj-45 converter. Make sure your remote port protocols are matching their baud rate. InnForms tech support is really co-operative especially if the property has recently upgraded their data chip. (You might suggest to the customer that this be done first for free tech support for yourself). Other than that, get a cold drink while you are on eternal hold with PMS folks!

Thanks! It's a new InnForm unit so I have TS from them. It's the PMS group that worries me LOL!

The key is to know baud and parity from the PMS, also, what handshake (Hobic or Holidex or Micros; ACK/NAK STX/ETX, etc).
If you match existing baud/parity/format/handshake you should be able to just hook it up and SHAZAM!
Take a collection of gender-benders and a null modem, too.
