I a little curious as to how many of you people out there are selling and installing this phone system...

I started selling the DS1000/2000 about 3 months ago.

I have been Installing them since the Famous telecom Expo. I have had no issues with them yet.

I've installed a lot of telephone systems and I started using the DS1000/2000 about 2 years ago as a low end product. Turns out that it is about 75% of our sales. We swear by it. Over the last 6 months it has finnally become a "GOOD" product. Many nice features, a low cost voice mail and the product is holding up just fine. The packages are priced well and as long as you use the admin software to program it you should be fine. New features recently added to the voicemail improve the product. If I had one wish.... it would be for the phones to be a little more sturdy. We've had no real problme with them, but they just look a little flimsy and the speaker phone could be improved.

I have never had the need to use a pc to program the system as long as you use the COPY feature.........

The Intramail & UltraMail 2000 is nice....

I agree with the phone issue, I have had a few strangly make little popping noises through the speaker.....

Have you used the new cordless phone yet???

ALSO those 8 analog ports on the DS1000 is great...

I have been selling these systems for a little over a year. They are very dependable, customers are happy with them (features verses price), and if you install them correctly you hardly ever have to go back.

I too sell these systems, and do very well. Been selling them since old version 1.01.00. They sure have come along way!
