I have a customer with a 124i and a ultramail voiucemail, every couple of months the voicemail just locks up and only a reset will cure the problem. As per NEC I have replaced the voicemail and upgraded the s/w on the 124i to the latest version. It is still happening, any idea?
thanks,
chris

Have you tested loop current disconnect?
Place a battey backup in the sytem?
Change the earth ground. One would be surprised how a natural earth ground fixes the unknown.

Is a capacitor intermittently failing in the power supply?
Have you changed the Power supply?
Can you drive a ground rod?

Welcome to the board Mainline.
You will want to create a new topic rather than posting your question in an existing topic. Otherwise, your post may not receive any attention. The "Post New Topic" button is at the top right, and bottom left of the page.
You will need to include some details about what type of system and voicemail you have. Procedures and capabilities can vary a great deal from product to product.
