Hello all -

I have EK1236 Tie System. None of the phones work, meaning no lights on buttons, intercom does not work, etc. But when lifting the receiver on the phones, I can hear "battery" power. And when unplugging a phone and plugging it back in, I get all red lights for just a split second. So, I am getting power to the phones, they just dont work.

It has a ECPU-B processor card. Could this be the problem? Maybe the power supply, a gigantic blue box thats mounted under the chassis itself?
I have a red led on the ECPU-B card (LED 2), LED 1 is not lit at all. When incoming calls ring, I get no lights on the CO cards indicating an incoming call.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

power supply is very possibly the issue as I recall they would go bad and drop one of the output voltages

as I recall there where test pins on the processor to check the voltages what do you get there ?

probably time to think of upgrading

On the power supply itself, there is 5 or so LED lights indicating the voltages (right above the fuses)..they are all lit solid red. What does the RL mean? is that a reset button?

So you're thinking power supply instead of the processor?

could be either , check the voltages out to start to confirm there correct with correct voltages then I would look at the processor
