Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm putting in a 0x32 MICS Nortel system with a T1 card. The customer is requesting to have the main line forward offsite after hours to an 800 number answering service. Is this possible? I know it can be done through the bell company at the network level with time of day routing. It doesn't matter if this is a manual operation done from the phone everyday.

Yes.you can use line redirection. This line must appear and RING on the set to be redirected.Assign a few of your lines to a pool for the line to dial out on...this works better than assigning a single line.Make sure you have at least 2 intercom buttons on the set if you use the line pool option. To turn line redirect on,you use "feature 84" and to turn it off use "feature # 84"When you turn this feature on it will ask you several questions...just keep telling it o.k. until it says line redirected. It is called line redirection, but you are really redirecting the set.
