Hello group.

One of our customers who is a non-profit has an old 8x24 which is working very well. Software is 5.1.

Somebody has donated an old 2.0 copper NAM, and the client has asked us to connect it and program the voice mail.

Does anybody remember ? Will this be compatible, or will it be like trying to run a CallPilot 100 on an old 6x16 - little weird problems here and there.

Any advice anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated, before we spend a few hours on site (for free, they're non-profit) only to find that the copper NAM causes more problems than it's worth.

Thanks in advance.

dave

We are running an 824 DS with 5.1 and a nam 2.0 (copper) Just make sure you have an available expansion port, the software level is at least 5.1, and the main system is a DS. Been running at our customer for over a year without any major glitches (mostly user error) Best of luck!
