Can anybody tell me why I can't get older T1 and 1.1 software to work in a mics that had 4.1 software working in it b4?

I don't have the exact technical specs, but basically, once you install the newer software, it changes some of the internal registers on the MICS cabinet. When you try to go backwards, it doesn't recognize the older software. In a nutshell, you can upgrade a cabinet, but not downgrade it as far as I know.

Post to the installer forum and I will give the information on how to go backward on the s/w.There is no secret or anything like that I just don't like to post alot of things on public forum.You never know....

ive not gone back to r1t1 ...
ive downgraded from 6.1 to 4.0 ... no problems, the system cold starts ...and the system ID changes ...i do this in my lab ..so dont care

SamH or anyone, can you tell me how to make the changes necessary to go back from 4.1 software to 2.0?

I'll post this in the installer category as well.
