OK. I know this is probably a "dumb question", but how do you initialize a guest mailbox for Call Pilot?

All I have done in the past for Startalk guest mailboxes, was to not have an extension assoicated with it --and no message waiting capability. Then you "initialize" it the same way as you would a regular mailbox--but of course there would be no integration---so the keystrokes to get to the mailbox would be a bit different--it would be like you're outside of the system getting your messages.

SO if I understand correctly,
-a normal mbx- F981 enter password
-a guest mbx F981 press * then enter ext and password.

Is this correct?

when you press the star key it brings you back to the login.
lets say that i'm working at someone elses desk and i want to check my massages from hie desk, i would hit fet 981 *my ext and password all in one shot then i'll be in my mailbox. same rule applies to the guest mailbox
