I have a customer who wants currently installed doorphones on a MICS 6.1 to call a 1800 number. In programing, you can only call internal extentions with the doorphone but I set up a destination code with the 1800 number as dial out digits. It calls the number, but the doorphone places the call on hold. Anyone help? Thanks, Jeff Koehler [email protected]

Did you try setting the door phone to ring to an extension that is set to external fwd to the number?

yes,
with both an ata and a digital set. I get the same problem. For some reason when the call is transfered to an external #, either the system or the doorphone place the call on hold.

How many intercom buttons did you assign to the Door phone? I believe the you are supposed to assign 1. Maybe if you try 2 it won't put the call on hold.
