I have a MICS 4.1 with a fiber NAM. My customer is worldwide and has just setup a Cisco router and is giving me 4 loop start lines via 2FXS cards. I have set lines 025 thru 028 as pool A and answer to AA table 1 in 0 rings.
This lets inbound callers come in over the router and hit the AA then dial an ext. and visa versa when dialing out.
What they would like to do is also have the option to not only dial an ext. but access an outbound PRI trunk. Someone mentioned DISA but I have never used it. Reading as much as I can in the forums here it seems like this would be the solution? What is involved in setting up DISA?
This is my forst post on any telecom forum so bare with me. Just found out about this forum.

You should probably switch your router to fxo. The remote end becomes extensions and will be able to access outbound pool and dial extensions directly. Otherwise continue with the Disa auto answer solution. However, if you really want to set this up right use E&M trunking on both ends.
