hello guys i have a customer with an cics and flashtalk. they tell me they want the aa to answer and transfer to the station when caller dials the ext but if the called party doesnt asnwer they want it to go to an off premise answering service. i dont think this is possible but does any one have an idea on this one. thanks dave

what you are trying to do is called outbound transfer you cant do it with the flashtalk
you can with the call pilot or if your software
on your cics is higher than 4.0 you can transfer
his extension thru building a routing table

i will have to check the software, i didnt put it in but i bet its an older one. thank you for the possible solutions. dave
