There's your problem. We don't need no stinkin' instructions. Agree with jwooten..have had a few bad also. That's why we call them crash pilots. See what serial says... also don't know why but some can take up to 30 minutes to boot on initial install.

no luck with hyper term but i had to buy this stupid pmcia card cause new laptop doesnt have one so might not be setup corrctly
can i initialize the stupid thing with a set then try to connect with laptop think that will help

Now you really got me confused. What does the laptop have to do with the PCMCIA card? You have a Nortel PCMCIA flash card in the back slot of the pilot? Or is it in your laptop on an adapter?

If it's a Nortel flash card it should be in the pilot. Furtherest slot back. Put it in the mail and reboot. Make sure it's a pilot flash card not an CICS soft card.

well got it initialized the old way will try again with laptop to see if it makes a difference
