I HAVE A FLASH VOICEMAIL. THE CUSTOMER HAS THREE RECEPTION PHONES AND THEY ARE THE ONLY PLACE THAT THE PHONE RINGS TO START, THEN IT ROLLS TO PHONES AS A BACK UP. THE FRONT THREE EXTS DON'T HAVE VOICEMAIL, BUT THE PHONES THEY ROLL TO DO AND THE CALL GOES TO THE VARIOUS PEOPLE VOICEMAIL ON MAIN LINE CALLS. I FEEL KIND OF DUMB, BUT IS THERE A WAY TO PREVENT THIS?

If the system has hunt groups. Create on for the main operator phones and have it overflow to th second hunt group of the backup phones.

If not, turn of the RNA forwarding to voicemail of the backup phones.

Good Luck!!

I created the hunt groups, but only one of the 3 phones rings. I have it set for broadcast. the lines appear on both of the phones that won't ring, but no ring. the phone that does ring has no line appearances. I turned off the prime set thing like the book says. What am I missing?

Did you add the lines to the Hunt Group?
You also might have to remove the apperance of the lines; it depends on which version of software.

Good Luck!!
