I have a MICS system and would like to know if I can renumbers the hunt groups so I can use the digit 4 for another purpose. They start at 405 and go on up from there.

Thanks
Shawn

I don't think you can change the range (but try using the change DN feature). The HG range is set at start up. Normally they are in the 700's if you leave your DN range at start up to the default 2xxx range. You must have some unual DN numbers.

I have 3 sites. 1 has 200, 1 has 300, 1 has 400. I am trying to make it so site 1 can call site 2 by dialing only 3 digits with routes and destination codes. When I dial 4--, it calls that hunt group.

There's your problem. You should have used 4 digit extension numbers.

22xx, 23xx, 24xx.

They are bent on having the same ext numbers as they do now. So I was just hoping I could change those numbers. We will find a work around I guess.

Thanks for the help

Sometimes you have to say "We can't do that and here's why".

Good Luck

Marvs right, multiple site are easier to configure with 4 digit dialing. We build ours, 22xx, 33xx, 44xx; this might be a work around for you.
