Hello All, Can I use the power-down-during-applying template trick to upgrade from release 1 T1 or will I just have to start from fresh and reprogram averything manually. Thanks!

Oops... ugrading to 7.0 XC. I've begun writing down all of the programming info in case I have to start from scratch (NRU doesn't work with museum quality software) LOL. I'll also be expanding the system with a new 6 port fiber expansion (up from the 2 port installed now), two more trunk mods, and two station mods once the upgrade is complete.

The Applying Template trick does default the system back to nothing. if you use this you will have to reprogram from scratch. there is an upgrade tool you can purchase but honestly with something that old I just start over because sometimes even with the tool the system defaults.
