Anyone ever see a start talk 1.9 auto delete saved messages? You can leave a test message with a time and date and a couple months down the road the message is gone??? I have seen messages as far back as 2 years in a GD mailox, so I am assuming, this could be a replacment coming???

Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

Message retention depends on the class-of-service assigned to the mailbox. Change the COS to one that retains messages for a longer time.

The default COS is 1. Message retention for COS 1 is 30 days. COS 3 and 4 have indefinite retension.

Unfortunately COS on the flash is not editable.

Also be careful when adjusting the date on the system.

So on new messages, they will retain them till you listen to them, but saved messages delete without warning you after 30 days?

Message retention setting is BOTH new and saved messages.

Default COS on a GD mailbox must not be 1 then as I know I have seen messages in there from WAY back if someone unplugs the set that notifies them of messages.
Thanks
