Can someone tell me how to turn off the ability of the Option 11C to disable a digital port if the phone for that port has been unplugged for a period of time?
Thanks

It can be done. Remove LD30 from midnight routine in LD17. REQ chg TYPE ovly SID BKGD PBXH TODR DROL x30 MULTI_USER
However, I would hesitate to remove LD30 from anything EXCEPT an Opt 11. The load performs other duties. If it's the same phone or phones all of the time try changing the CLS to FLXA. An unplugged set that is enabled takes twice as much bandwidth (backplane) and ram as one that is plugged in. Not a lot to worry about until the numbers start adding up then an echg or mov command can corrupt the database. It's easy to disable, but it's there for a reason. Procede with caution.

FLXA Flexible voice/data Allowed. I have heard it will keep TN from disabling. I have not had the need to use it, but know guys that have. I have also heard there is a patch from Nortel that prevents sets from disabling during LD30. You still see that the set failed the signaling test (NWS) but the set will not disable. Patch: Q00424199 ISS1:10F1 P1 11/05/06 p11700_1.cpp You would need to verify it would be correct for your switch.
