Setting up external xfr thru startalk flash on path 5 but I put in the external no. after "pool", & save it , when I call the VM , push 5, I get "that no. is invalid". Is disc. superv. significant? Pool nos. are not centrex, don't need "9", I disabled the tree 1st, enabled it before I called it. Is there something else in the Norstar programming that I have to change??? Customer is about 40 miles away, so I'd like to get it done on my next visit. One more note, the main reason for the service was to add 4 more CO lines to the system. any help is very much appreciated.

Do you hear "that number is not valid" or see it on the screen?
When the VM asks you for pool number PoolA = 1, PoolB = 2 etc.
You must have DS turned on the lines, and Redirect Allowed on the VM DN.
