I'm having trouble installing a program on two of our pc's, and I get a the same error when rebooting that says TSP Launcher is not responding. The TSP program has something to do with our integration between our BCM 400 ver 4.0 and our Outlook email clients.

I don't see a specific reference to TSP Launcher in the Add/Remove programs list, only the Lan CTE Client.

I'm thinking of removing the Lan CTE Client in the Add/Remove control panel to see if this helps my other install. Will this "use up" one of my licenses for Lan CTE? If I re-install it, does it use up another license? And just what does the TSP Launcher do?

An additional license will not be used. Licensing is based on the number of concurrent clients connected to the server (BCM). The TSP (Telephony Service Provider) Launcher is part of the client (LAN CTE Client) that enables integration with the BCM from TAPI enabled applications.

Thanks for the info Marty.

I tried uninstalling the Lan CTE on both laptops. Both seemed to hang. I see an uninstall icon in the task bar, but if I click on it to maximize it, nothing happens. It won't come off the task bar. I can end the task from Task Manager (Win XP).

Is there an uninstall program from Nortel that must be used? I still get the 'not responding' message during shutdown of the pc.
