I have a customer that has a Norstar Compact ICS system. The system is dead and the Green Power light is blinking fast. I powered down the system and it did not change. Does this mean a bad power supply??
I tried resetting the card and no difference.

Does it also make a clicking sound too?
I had the same trouble last week due to a storm. Ended up being the KSU and Software card. The CID line card somehow survived. :rolleyes: :shrug:

No Clicking! All phones dead, dim light on each phone, top left of phone. All phones have nothing on display.The manual for this unit does not say anything about a fast blinking power light. I tried another outlet that I knew worked and it did the same thing. I have not pulled the software card out yet. Did not want to lose programing.

Pull all cards out. Power the cabinet up. If red power light still blinking replaced a KSU.
