I have a customer that I just put a refurbed cics in for. He says that when he is on the phone, and someone dials in, it rings twice and then automatically puts the call on hold. Is this just a matter of the autohold possibly being enabled or is there more to it? Thanks,

Auto hold not supposed to effect on it. Take a look on Auto Attendant feature. It might be enabled and no Greeting is recorded. So it gets picked up by it and then puts caller on hold.

The CICS has a built in AA feature.
Auto hold is for when a user is on say line 1 and presses line 2, it will automatically put line 1 on hold. Not used on incoming calls.
