One of my customer has a old Star Talk which one come with a hard drive. The software version is 2.0.4. Problem is F98X code does not work since this morning. I try use F**XFTEST to remove all F98X. After all no any feature code in the there any more include F903.
Anyone know how to fix it?

Have you tried rebooting the Star Talk?

Use the F**XFTEST to confirm all feature codes have been removed, if not remove them. After all feature codes are removed reboot phone system only, not the Star Talk

dans has it just backwards.

You should unplug your voice mail.
Then remove the features.
Then plug in the voice mail.

It could be your drive is no good.

NTlayoff,

I am going by what I experienced last week with a compact ICS and Call Pilot that took a power surge. Customer could not log into voice mail. What I found was the feature code for all voice mail functions was 999 across the board. I was told by a Nortel dealer to do what I explained yesterday and it worked

You're both right. Rebooting either of them will reload the feature codes

No apologies needed, when your also right hehe.
True on either or....but I always suggest as NTLayoff has mentioned because why take the phone system down too when you dont have to.

I agree. Much easier to reboot the VM on a busy system as there's alway some turkey who won't get off or stay off the phone sytem.
