I have installed over 50 PRIs on Nortel switches and have finally met my match. I have a 4.1 software that will not send DNIS digits. I have the target lines programed corectly. I have the lines set to ring and appr on sets. I verified the carrier is sending 4 digits. All calls go directly to the attd. I put a PRI tester on monitor and can see the Caller ID and the DNIS. I have never had any problems with these switches and have nothing else to try.

DNIS is dependant on the capability of the PRI. Check with carrier.

I would really recommend you upgrade this software. 4.1 is the first generation to support PRI and it has problems. Mimimum 6.1MR.

I don't remember exactelly but I belive in 4.1 in addition to have a Prime set set up for target line there is one more option some like Private to or Prime to that has to be specified as well. By the way make sure non of those direct Target lines have programmed to be answered by AA.

I had a similar problem with PRI. The carrier was using digit maniulation since some of the DIDs were 0XXX. They were taking the first digit and replacing it with a 2. I didn'r realize that the this affects all of the DID's The Fax line was going to the receptionist all day and driving them crazy!
