I'm proposing a CICS with 7.0 for a very small business. He currently has a one line phone with built in caller id. He likes being able to press the missed calls button on the phone and scroll down thru the phone numbers of recent calls.
I understand F812 does this, but I've never actually used it myself. Can it be so simple as just programming a button for F812 on the CICS? I suppose the customer will have to press the F812 button, then probably press a "Next" softkey?
Thanks. Jim

Not quite so simply.
You will have to program each phone for how big a log file you want, then program the phone for what you want to log. ( all calls, Calls you answer, calls you missed, etc....)
Then you can use the F812. You have to tell it to log something before you can see what it logged.
If CON is the opposite of PRO Then what is the opposite of Progress?

I took it that he had already done that part for granted...that he just wanted to go back to the log.

This is a system I installed a while ago. That customer changed his business, so I'm helping him sell the 7.0 to the new, small customer.
Hopefully it works out for both of them, and I can install the 7.0 for the new guy. I'll also get to sell him a cid card.
