What's the software? There are lock up issues with 6.1 release 1.

Its a DR. 1 4x8 restricted ..another installer i work with occasionally, said it could be that the 5 volts is low so it runs until it can't substain the load (I've never heard of this) if so is it a single component or part of the mother board that can be replaced tks.

Time you mess with that unit and get it fixed, your time would be better spent clicking the "EQUIPMENT" button at the top of this page. Been down the repair-it-myself road. It's full of curves, potholes, dead-ends, and speed-traps! Jump on the replacement equipment interstate! There are thousands of CICS out there and a bunch of them are for sale, AND THEY WORK! smile

Well Dave actually I did sell him a new one. But he told me to take the old one , so I was wondering if it was worth trying to get it fixed ,assuming the above info on the prob is correct ,

It's your time, your dime then. Personally I prefer to waste my time on other things...

Last resort swap out the fuse at the bottom of the CICS behind the power plug or checks it's connections.

Otherwise sounds like the PS has taken its toll.
