I just joined the Forum to see if someone can help me out or have an idea how i can resolve the issue i'm having with our BCM 5.0; hopefully one of you guys would be able to provide me with some ideas...

We have two BCM Servers connected with each other. One, has three PRI and the other one has two PRI. The way our reseller conifigured was two allow both BCM Server function as a single one, so every time i place an outbound call I use a line from Server 1 and another one from Server 2.

Anyways, i'm getting a 'User Call Reject' on the LCD Panel of the Nortel every time a User tries to place an Outbound call (Long, Local, Toll free number...it doesn't matter).

This has happened very early in the morning when there is only 2 o3 5 Users utilizing the Nortel phone system, so is not an issue of running out of lines or Channels on the PRIs.

At the same time i get an error on the Server 1 Error 327 'Slip Overflow'

maybe its a clocking issue...I don't know...i have tried all types of configurations, Please HELP!!

Thank you,

Ronnie

1st, welcome to the board.

2nd, no need to post here, then send me two emails....posting here is enough laugh

3rd, keep your pants on & one of the BCM pros will post soon with a response. I have no training on the BCM yet.

As Dave said, welcome and pull back on the reins.

This is your answer. The PRI is slipping out of sync. 99% of the time this is a carrier issue.

Ensure if you have the call by call limits set to the maximum outgoing channels available in each system.

Under Line pools you could find this setting.

Hey CSS_ETSO6,

On Server 251 I have the following

Dial Plan>Destinations Codes:
2A>Is using Normal Route>013
37A>Is using Normal Route>007
38A>Is using Normal Route>007
39A>Is using Normal Route>007
62>Is using Normal Route>011
9A>Is using Normal Route>002

Now I think the problem might rely within 9A since that's what we use to dial out (Local, Long Distance and International).

Route 002 is Using line Pool O and when i check Line Pool O it doesn't have the Tab 'Call by Call Limits' next to the DNs Tab.
However, Block A and Block C has the 'Call by Call Limits' Tab.

Any ideas why Pool O Doesn't have this Tab within?

Pool O is a POTS lines. Make sure you have lines in it and they all have a dial tone.

We don't have POTS lines, except for the Fax Machines...
Umm Maybe that's why we are having problems. Which Line Pool should I use for 9A>Route 002?
