I have a client with a Call Pilot 100 connected to a CICS. For some strange reason, I can't get Feature 987 (Voice Mail Interrupt) to work? jacquesb@telecable.ca

My office has a CICS. I use the F987.
It works about 30% - 35% of the time. Never figured out why it won't work.
Maybe someone will have an answer.
If CON is the opposite of PRO Then what is the opposite of Progress?

I don't use it, but I think you need to interupt the call prior to the end of the user greeting. I will have to test this next time I am out on a CP100.

True , you can interrupt as long as they are leaving a message.
Best to program a key for this (and to help troubleshoot), it will flash quickly while listening to your greeting and slowly when they leaving a msg.
Also for trouble shooting add some vmail DN appearances on a set then do some tests and see if the vmail is using the channels for both the caller and the person interrupting.
