I would like to install the 2050 softphone to a HTC6800. The HTC is running windows CE.
Has anyone tried this?

I don't think it'll work - you need a Windows Mobile installation package (which the 2050 doesn't provide).
I've tried a number of different SIP clients on my HTC touch but none of them have worked well.

Yep, the 2050 would not install at all.
Well I will save myself some time and not try any other sip clients,
